The Seven of Pentacles is quite a secretive card. It depicts a druid harvesting the sacred mistletoe from an oak tree using a golden sickle. It's clearly a cold and snowy day, most likely Yule, (the shortest day of the year). There are 7 pentacles inscribed into the rock at his feet. Mistletoe was a sacred plant to the druids and it rightly takes centre stage in this card. It symbolises being able to harvest all your energies. It is a symbol of peace. This card tells me that you have worked hard recently and should now be enjoying the fruits of your labours. There is a peaceful time ahead, where you will be settled and untroubled. If you have money worries, this would be a time to start saving for a rainy day as you will have enough to live on. If you have had a troubling time with someone else, the appearance of this card in a reading, shows that now is the time to forgive them and move on. ![]()
